
Loading…Ballsy Group Foundation (BGF) is a registered non-profit organization based in Jorhat, Assam, committed to empowering rural communities through sustainable livelihood development, agriculture, women empowerment, entrepreneurship, skill development, and social welfare initiatives. Since its inception, the Foundation has been working closely with Government departments, financial institutions, research organizations, and corporate partners to create inclusive and sustainable development models across Northeast India.
The Foundation has extensive experience in implementing projects supported by organizations such as NABARD, NERAMAC, Quality Council of India (QCI), Development Commissioner (Handicrafts), Ministry of Textiles, National Medicinal Plants Board (NMPB), CSIR-NEIST, Assam State Biodiversity Board (ASBB), APEDA, FIEO, and several other national institutions.
Ballsy Group Foundation promotes farmer collectives, women-led enterprises, and sustainable value chains in agriculture and allied sectors. It serves as a Producer Promoting Institution (PPI) for Farmer Producer Companies (FPCs) and has successfully facilitated the formation and strengthening of multiple FPCs, including Kaveesha Botanica Producer Company Limited, which focuses on medicinal plants, herbal products, and value-added agricultural commodities.
